YouTube Now Lets You Post Videos Longer Than 15-Minutes

To all my YouTube movie makers and Vloggers, the day has finally come where we can upload a video with unlimited length. Yes, you read that correctly, YouTube announced this latest news on their blog, stating:
"Starting today, we’ll begin allowing selected users with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and our copyright rules to upload videos that are longer than 15 minutes."
YouTube continued to explain that the increase in video length is the result of advances in their Content ID system and other tools related to protecting copyrighted material. To use, head over to YouTube and start uploading.

Clearly, this is really good news for us content creators. However, it might take me a few minutes to remove the mental block I have regarding online videos.

Additionally, for institutions of higher learning, this announcement means we can finally post those hour long lectures and create a table of contents for easy navigation. I give YouTube two thumbs up!
