WorldVentures Regional Training: Building For Speed

Speaker: Scott Ross

Building fast is easy, building slow is frustrating. Who wants to get to International Marketing Director? (Hands go up)

One of the biggest mistakes people make in this business is this: People treat this like a hobby, not a business. Hobbies cost you money, business makes you money.

Today, we're going to hit the numbers.

Most people enroll someone and focus on getting their four. Taking a look at the compensation plan, only 27% will ever earn a dollar in WorldVentures. This means only 3 out of 10 decide to make this business work.

90% of people who get a gym membership NEVER work out one time.

When we enroll someone, the first thing we are going to do is enroll through someone within 24 hours. Once we get that person, we are going to move through that person and help the next person get one person. We keep doing this where we are building one after another. We're not waiting for people to get their four. As we move through, we forget the sponsor and focus on the new representative. Three out of ten people are the ones we want.

You should ALWAYS have enough of the "Push Play" DVD's. An object in motion tends to stay in motion. An object at rest tends to stay at rest.

On the first night/day, get an appointment via text. Once you do a visit, coffee, or whatever, show the video and call your sponsor to simply get his story.

On the first night, Scott helped the new person get two appointments. Players just do.

Once you get a new person, text all the uplines and wait for them to call you. The person who calls you are the players. They will simply EMERGE.

If you want to be an International Marketing Director, listen to these two numbers: 30 and 100.

To be an IMD, you need to put in at LEAST 30 personals. Statistically, 1 out of 10 people will be a player. Therefore, you need to get at least 3 players to build your lineage.

Always build on your outside left or outside right. Remember, we are building a NET. Many people are fishing with a line and pole, Scott is building with a NET. Every time you build outside left and right, you are building a net.

The best people all have come in the middle of the NET. To go IMD, when you can count 100 people down your left and right outside, your certainty of going IMD is high.

Therefore, Scott's goal is to build the outside each day. When the net is big enough, you will start catching the ACES.

Remember: 30 personals and 100 outside right/left is our goal.

Top 10 Mistakes Reps Make

Disconnect
Scott walked to the empty part of the room. The people who are no longer here have disconnected. This is the difference between success and failure.

To drive the point home, Scott talks about going to church and working out in the gym. The first day that you miss church/gym, it only gets easier to keep missing. By the forth day of missing an event, you will be disconnected.

Promise yourself, stay around the campfire, no matter what.

Think You Don't Need Training
The key of this business is DUPLICATION. Scott has spent over $100,000 in personal development. Even after working with some of the best trainers in the world, Scott knew he needed training. People will not do what you SAY, but do what you DO.

The average person can only stay focused and motivated for a period of time. Every event is used to help keep your team focused and motivated. Leaders don't even think about going to an EVENT.

Spending Time with the Wrong People
People often spend time with people who are negative and dream stealers. Your salary is the average of the 5 people you hang around the most. In this business, we often hang out with people who need us the most. We love everybody, but we are building a first class business and we're looking for PLAYERS. Stop investing in the needy and focus on the PLAYERS.

"Cowboy It Up"
If you try to build this business by yourself, you are going to die.

Re-Invent the Wheel
Don't buy ads on Facebook or a list of leads. It's all about DUPLICATION. Follow the SYSTEM.

If/Then Mentality
This is where people make excuses. If I had a BMW, then I could do it. Stop waiting for someone to make you happy. Just win!

Just live, be happy right now!

Don't Do Enough To Win
This is doing enough to be in the game, but not enough to win the game. Let's get all in and go hard.

Indecision
Double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Expect the Worst/Focus on the Negatives
If you go into a situation focusing on the negative, than you've already lost. Focus on the positive.

Inconsistency
This business is like a pickle jar. Most people are trying to build this business by studying and then attacking. The way to open a pickle jar is to consistently apply pressure (Director!). (Crowd applause) Start leaning into this sucker, don't be inconsistent.

120 Day Crusade

Right now, we are 120 days away from December 15th. How many would like to take the next 120 days and become a Director. As a leader, put this into practice within your team. Track this with your team some how. Do this and you will be a Director!

This is NOT for the faint of heart. Let's work hard for our dreams as we would for someone else's dream.
  • Show 1 person a day (this can be personally or showing the deal for a team mate)
  • Attend EVERY SINGLE Event (travel party, regional, super Saturday, or whatever)
  • Listen to NOTHING but WV Audios
  • Read 10 pages a day of personal development (Start with As A Man Thinketh by James Allen)
  • Personally Enroll 30 people
Get with your upline sponsor and have them hold you accountable.

ACTION: Consider building a tracking method and an award for those who do it.

Director in 120 Days = TOTAL IMMERSION

Getting Results

Understanding the Rules of the Game
95% of the people fail. This is not a WorldVentures thing, but a life thing.

Three Basic Fundamentals
1. Set your goals (Write it down and put it up everywhere. Write 120 every where.)
2. Make a list

What are your goals?
Why are you doing this?

Be Willing To Pay The Price

You will be tested.

How Bad Do You Want It?

21 Days in a row forms a habit.

Fail Your Way To the Top
I'm not judged
by the number of times I fail but
the number of times I succeed
and the number of times I succeed
is in direct proportion to the number of
times I fail and keep trying
