Pain-Pleasure Principle

"I conceive that pleasures are to be avoided if greater pains be the consequence, and pains to be coveted that will terminate in greater pleasures." ~ Michel de Montaigne

Good morning, Champions! There are many a dreams that are lost or stolen because we often avoid the short-term pain that leads to long-term pleasure (gains or rewards). Instead, we give into short-term pleasure (temptations), which often lead to long-term pain.

At the next moment of decision, remember what you really want and ask yourself if this decision is helping you get closer or further from your dream. Choose wisely!

I know that this is an older post, just wanted to know if you got that dissertation finished. I am currently writing my proposal and going absolutely nuts. I'm curious how you did?
