Spotify Now Allows You To Listen In Private


Business Insider reported on a tweet from Spotify's CEO and Founder, Daniel Ek, who announced that the company is rolling out a new client (see tweet below).


This new feature comes after Spotify users complained about transparency on Facebook. The issue is that as you listen to music, Spotify will automatically share the artist, song, and link. Anyone that has access to view your account can see a history of songs you listening to. 

To temporarily hide your listening activity, select the "Private Listening" mode (see image below).
