Twitter Makes Tweets Pop With Pictures and Videos


Twitter announced yesterday that both mobile apps and Twitter.com will now show more engaging media within tweets.

Prior to this update, users would have to click on a link in order to view.

What makes this exciting is that tweets may now get more attention because of the image or video attached. While I understand that people like Twitter for it's simplistic functionality, mainly text, allowing images and Vines (short videos) to the timeline immediately draws my interest.
