Bouncing Back To Cardio After A Vacation

Last week, I went back home to Washington State to visit family and friends. While there, I continued to workout despite my lack of access to a gym. Instead, I focused on walking around the neighborhood and just staying active.

One tool I did not have last week was a scale. Typically, I make an effort to weigh myself throughout the week to ensure that I'm meeting personal goals.

In this video, I'm back in North Carolina and making strides to get back to my daily routine of cardio in the morning to aid in the loss of two pounds per week.

Outside the swarm of bugs I walked into while filming, getting outside to walk was a pleasant change of pace. Although, I had no way of knowing how effective my efforts were. The one observation I did have focused on the amount of sweat I produced. Walking outside, I didn't sweat as much as when I'm in the gym. Not sure if that means I wasn't as active or if the breeze had something to do with it.

In any case, let's continue to burn those calories and meet our goals this week.
